The bikes and where they are located

Nelson Bay Bike hire has two locations.

The Visitor Information Centre (VIC) 60 Victoria Parade, Nelson Bay

Fingal Bay Holiday Park at Fingal bay

Both stations have 8 bikes for hire including 6 unisex bikes (4 with child seats and 2 with Baskets) for riders over 145 cm. Plus, 2 children bikes which 24 inch wheels, suitable for riders over 110cm tall
The bike path is right there so start exploring Nelson bay by bike.

Helmets are available next to the kiosk at the Visitors information centre.

You must have a physical card for payment, credit cards and some debit cards are accepted. No tap and go options are available.

Things to do in Nelson Bay on a bike – get up close and personal to nature and the environment, it’s a fun healthy way to spend time with loved ones

Port Stephens things to do includes the Nelson Bay foreshore, it’s the ideal start and end point to bike hire. The area has over 25 km of dedicated bike paths, bike lanes plus quiet back streets. Explore Nelson Bay Lighthouse, Tomaree Point National Park and Tomaree lookout, Shoal Bay, Fingal Bay beach and Corlette parklands. All with views across the bay and ocean, so bring your swimmers as there are many safe places to cool off.

“The Bay” as the locals call it, has lots of shops and eateries plus a Cinema, pub, marina, dolphin and whale watching cruises all within 200 meters of the bike stations.
